Company History.
Originally known as Sital Industries, But with the name later changed to Borex Manufacturing to suit our core business role, the company was founded in 1974 by Giancarlo Evello .
Originally established to manufacture hydraulic cylinders for Raise boring machines but rapidly developed its manufacturing capability to cover all Raise Boring components.
Form experience gained first hand the company began working closely with various mines modifying and re designing certain components to better cope with South African hard rock conditions.
In 1984 the company began a programme of upgrading and installing specialised heavy duty CNC machinery for the manufacture of down hole string components. Borex now succesfully produces a range of drill pipes, stabilizers, bit subs, gearbox components and Raisebore output drive components of very high quality.
Using our experience and expertise gained over the past 40 years we have attracted a substantial list of mining houses and Raise drilling companies in our client base.
